Cult Dept. is a design studio in Toledo, Ohio, founded by Adam Sattler. We develop visual identities, packaging, environments, and creative direction for people who make things.

Background

Adam spent years in-house as a Creative Director for a company running multiple spirits and beer brands alongside a network of bars and restaurants. That's where we learned what lasts. When you live with a brand system day after day, stretching it across menus and merchandise and signage, you start designing differently.

We take on a small number of projects each year and give each one the time it needs. The result is complete systems built for daily use.
