Cult Dept. was started in 2024 by Adam Sattler after years and years and years and years of working for other people, most recently as in-house Creative Director for a company that produced spirits and beer and operated five restaurant and bar locations. And while Cult Dept. still focuses largely on those industries, we often work in other industries ranging from museums and science centers, to merchandise, to video games.
We work with an expansive, talented network of creatives to offer the best approach to each project.
A note on the work. The projects showcased here reflect our creative process and design capabilities but may not always represent the final direction or version used. Some projects are speculative, conceptual, or self-initiated, created prior to the founding of Cult Dept., part of our exploration and experimentation, or represent approaches developed for confidential client work.
