LUCKY DOG

Gone to the Dogs. For Lucky Dog, Ben Stalets’ third studio album, we created packaging to support Ben Morales’ photos. Stalets’ music is rooted in Rust Belt storytelling and blue-collar songwriting, and the design needed to feel just as honest. We kept things simple and stayed out of the way, letting the photos and songs do what they do. As Ben says, “It took me four albums to finally sound and talk like myself.” We just tried to follow his lead.
