Human Poetry Machine

Industrial Process, Personal Connection.

Human Poetry Machine is a multi-sensory interactive installation by photographer Natalie Tranelli and poet Ryan A. Bunch. Participants complete an intake form, are photographed, and then receive a custom poem typed directly onto their portrait. The visual identity draws from atomic-era science manuals, 1950s textbooks, and the Pelican Original book series—bold, bright, and slightly clinical, balancing warmth and experimentation with a precise, instructional aesthetic.
