The Underground
Mind Your Head.
The Underground is a basement beer bar beneath a cocktail bar, built to highlight local brews. The vibe: your grandparents' basement if they were retired daredevils. We created wheatpaste posters for fictional demolition derbies and state fair stunt shows. Heavy Hell Drivers. Wheel of Steel. Brenda "The Bus Warrior" and the Big Bus Smash-Em-Up. The walls are covered in gilt-framed photos of strongwomen, circus performers, and stuntmen. Wood paneling. Neon. Chaotic, kitschy, and a lot of fun.
